The Telstad farm was built around 1770. The main building was restored in 2004. The original exterior architectural details have been preserved as far as possible. While the interior, has been furnished to create a cozy Norwegian countryside atmosphere, with all modern conveniences. Heating at Telstad is environment friendly, the source of which is warm air pumped up from the earth.
Telstad lies in peaceful surroundings about 100 meters from the bank of the Glomma River. Open spaces around the main farmhouse, offers an unobstructed view over grass fields to the river itself. A footpath offers easy access to the river where you can either fish or just relax on the bank with a good book.
